Debashish Panigrahy is a well-known writer of Odisha and has written a number of short stories, novels and short fiction. He is also a reputed lyricist and has written popular lyrics for audio and video albums, television and cinema. He is a member of Indian Police Service and is currently posted as an Inspector General of Police at State Police Headquarters and based at Cuttack, an ancient and historic town of Odisha.
